Side Effects
I've been reading magazines in the past week, picked them up from the library. I was tired of surfing on my iPad and needed to feel the pages of a real magazine glide between my fingers.
I picked up about 15 magazines, I won't name them, but varying topics from home design, fashion, fitness and parenting.
As I read through some very interesting articles, I began to notice many ads for medication. I had not really paid attention to these particular ads in the past. I guess some of them started getting my attention because they were for depression.
One in particular struck me and from there I turned to all the other magazines and looked through them as well.
If I were taking this medication and I got the feeling that I was standing outside of my body, I probably would weigh the pros and cons of taking the medication. To what extend can a medication be a solution to a specific health concern while causing a side effect of mental problems that cause hallucinations.
I've never felt like I was standing outside of my body. For the pharmaceutic company to print that, it means that a significant number of patients have reported this as a side effect...
This medication states that it would be good to seek medical help if you experience a coma...well hopefully someone in your close environment will be able to get you the help you need if you're in a come. Reminder: the coma is the side effect!!
This medication indicates that you should not crush, or chew it...I wonder what happens? I am being silly here, I know the answer (because it changes molecular composition), but still, it gets me thinking about the drugs we ingest by prescription...
A quick solution to PMS, to depression, to weight loss. But at what price and in the long run, are we really cured and better?
